Tillerson golpea a China como un rompe-reglas "depredador"

Y coincide con el decimonoveno congreso del partido de China: una reunión masiva de miembros del Partido Comunista para elegir quién dirigirá el país durante los próximos cinco años.
El presidente de China, Xi Jinping, que se espera consolide su mantener el poder en la reunión aprovechó la ocasión para declarar que China debería "tomar el centro del escenario en el mundo" y que su marca de socialismo ofrece "una nueva opción para otros países" de acuerdo a la BBC . Preguntado sobre los comentarios altamente críticos de Tilleron, un alto funcionario del Departamento de Estado dijo que "China es obviamente una audiencia del discurso" y agregó que Estados Unidos espera que "todos los países de la región del Indo Pacífico tomen en serio" el mensaje de Tillerson.
