Más de 615,000 refugiados rohingya han huido del país desde el 25 de agosto, según agencias de ayuda, yendo a la vecina Bangladesh, que ha tenido problemas para lidiar con la afluencia.
Los refugiados escaparon de los violentos enfrentamientos en el norte del estado de Rakhine, donde el ejército de Myanmar intensificó lo que denomina "operaciones de desminado" contra "terroristas" después de que los militantes rohingya atacaron puestos policiales matando a 12 oficiales de seguridad.
